Cypress Construction Management LLC (Cypress CM) was founded in 2019 to provide comprehensive Program, Project, and Construction Management services to Public and Private Clients at the highest level possible.

Mansour Aliabadi and Doug Evans, principals of Cypress CM, each have more than 30 years of experience in the Design and Construction industry, they have worked together for more than 20 years serving clients and construction programs/projects across the State of California, Nationally, and Internationally.

Both principals and the Cypress CM team have extensive experience in Educational, Healthcare, Correctional, Commercial and Residential programs and projects. Serving Clients Ranging from University systems, Community Colleges, K-12 Districts, Healthcare Organizations, State Government Agencies, Counties, Cities, and a variety of Private sector clients.

Cypress CM is a full-service program and construction management company providing services to public and private clients. Cypress CM provides Strategic Guidance as well as in-depth day-to-day administration and technical support services to its clients and their construction programs and projects from inception to completion including commissioning and move-in activities.

Cypress CM delivers strong leadership, management and organizational skills in construction management. Our team has experience in all aspects of project delivery for both public and private sector projects including planning, design management, construction procurement, construction management, claims avoidance and resolution. As our client you’ll benefit from our collaborative approach and ability to influence project stakeholders to achieve desired results.

Doug Evans

CCM, DBIA.   

Doug Evans has demonstrated strong leadership, management and organizational skills in providing construction management services to industry clients for over 40 years. Having worked for both professional construction management firms and general contractors, Doug brings a unique and broad perspective to the delivery of construction projects and programs. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of project delivery for both public and private sector projects including planning, design management, construction procurement, construction management and claims resolution. He is experienced all project delivery methods with a strong emphasis in design build and progressive design build.

Throughout his career Doug has supported various clients in their building programs such as state, county and city governments and privates sector clients. Market segments he is familiar with include higher education, K-12, courts, criminal justice, industrial, high rise office buildings and apartments. Doug is certified as a Design Build Professional with the Design Build Association of America and a Certified Construction Manager by the Construction Management Association America as well as a California licensed general contractor.

Mansour Aliabadi

CCM, FCMAA.     

Mansour Aliabadi is a recognized industry leader in providing program, project and construction management services to public and private sector clients. Mansour started his construction management career in Sacramento providing services to counties, state agencies, university systems, community colleges, and school districts across the state of California. Mansour is a veteran of the design and construction industry and is recognized for bringing experience, knowledge and sensitivity to all projects – qualities affirmed by his long-standing client relationships. Throughout his career, he has worked in variety of market segments including education, healthcare, justice facilities, public buildings, transportation and water infrastructure projects.

Long active in CMAA and previously its President and Chair of the national Board of Director, Mansour has been a leader in the expansion of the CCM certification throughout the industry. Mansour is also an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Project Management Institute and Society of American Military Engineers.

Mike Courtney

Executive Director   

Mike Courtney has more than 39 years of experience in the private and public sectors leading people and project teams; developing organizations and project controls systems/procedures; and overseeing the construction of a wide variety of facilities. Projects which Mike has been responsible for include more the 4 million square feet of office buildings, K-12 schools, healthcare research facilities, public safety facilities, courthouses, correctional facilities, sports facilities, hotels and industrial projects. Mike has expertise in most project delivery methods and in managing all phases of projects including, entitlements, pre-construction, design, construction administration, real estate development, financing, and building maintenance/operations.

Prior to joining Cypress Construciton Management LLC, Mike worked in the public sector for the state of California Department of General Services (DGS) and the Judicial Council of California (JCC) in a wide variety of positions. During this period Mike’s work experience included leading each agency’s real estate and building programs which were both reorganized under Mike’s leadership. While at DGS Mike served three years as a governor’s appointee in the capacity of the Deputy Director for the State’s real estate and building program where Mike played a key role in the development of the State’s design-build procurement laws, procurement process, and contracts.

Mike is a Certified Construction Manager and a licensed General Contractor.

Ron Duek

CCM, LEED AP.     

Ron Duek is a seasoned construction manager with 35 years of experience managing complex capital construction projects; and experienced in major project delivery approaches in all project phases including entitlements, environmental and hazmat management, project planning, budget and schedule management, design, permitting and construction.

Mike Wyrauch

Sr. Project Manager    

Mike has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry with extensive Healthcare and Commercial project portfolios.  He began his career as a Superintendent working for a General Contractor and evolved into his current position as Senior Project Manager.

In his role as Senior Project Manager at Cypress Construction Management, Mike creates an environment of teamwork in order to ensure client satisfaction and quality in all aspects of work.  His strong communication and client service skills paired with a can do attitude are just a few of his attributes.

When Mike is not working, you are likely to find him surfing or paddle boarding with his three sons, or vacationing in Mexico with his lovely wife.

Ashutosh Ade

Project Engineer     

With Bachelors in Architecture & Masters in Construction Management – In a mere span of 7 years- Ashutosh (Ashu) has experience working on variety of projects from different sectors including public Institutional, high rise residential, single family homes, healthcare, business parks, Luxury Hotels by Hilton & Marriott. He strongly believes in integrating multiple skillsets for getting better end results as it gives him a different perspective to visualize the project from pre-construction to the overall life cycle. He aims to explore in areas of 7D BIM where he plans to integrate 3D Models with cost & scheduling-further integrating it with Energy & life cycle analysis.
